School Field Trips

Bring your class to the museum. School field trips are customizable for groups. Programs include:

  • museum into

  • exhibit scavenger hunt

  • craft activity

  • optional: trunk program

  • $3 per student, 1-1.5 hours

Outreach Trunks

Outreach trunks can be brought to your school or can be combined with a museum field trip.

  • Pioneer Quilt Trunk (K-4)

  • Mill Life Trunk (5-6) Coming Soon

  • Natural Dyes STEM Trunk (5-8) Coming Soon

  • Free, 20-30 minutes

Pot-Holder Workshops

Learn basic weaving with pot-holder loom weaving. Great for groups ages 8+.

  • 30 looms available

  • 1-2 hours

  • Free, thanks to CEMC

Adult Classes

SQTM offers a wide variety of classes ranging from intro to sewing and quilting to advanced fiber arts techniques.

Quilt Camps

The museum offers four sessions of Quilt Camp each summer. Camps are open to rising 4th graders. Registration opens March 1st and fills quickly.

Programs & Activities

SQTM offers a wide variety of other programming throughout the year. Programs range from artist talks and lectures, to family friendly make-n-takes, and crafting get togethers. Many of these programs are free or included with regular admission fees.
