Fiber Fantasy wearable art fashion show
We invite artists, fashion designers, students, costume creators, fiber artists, crafters, and imaginative makers to submit original wearable art for Fiber Fantasy, our upcoming Wearable Art Fashion Show Fundraiser. This exciting event will celebrate the fusion of art and fashion, transforming everyday materials into extraordinary wearable creations.
We Are Looking For:
Original, one-of-a-kind wearable art
Designs that showcase creativity, craftsmanship, and artistic expression
Garments, accessories, headpieces, and full-body creations that are designed to be worn on the runway.

We encourage submissions from a wide range of perspectives and media.
Open to adults and students age 14 or above. Applicants below the age of 14 will be considered and accepted at the discretion of the committee.
One entry per person.
Entries must be the original work of the entrant. If more than one person works on an entry, one individual must serve as the contact person.
Entry is not valid until the entry fee is paid.
Do not incorporate any fire or hazardous materials into your design. Any design that puts the event at risk will be disqualified and removed from the premises.
Entries must have been finished in 2025, 2026, or 2027.
This is a family-friendly environment, and any entry deemed inappropriate by the organizers will be disqualified. No obscenity, cruelty, etc.
Entrants must provide their own model or present themselves.
There are no strict limits to size, but the model must be able to comfortably move on and off stage/runway without assistance.
Entry should be crafted from fiber, fabric, beads, paper, metal, recycled materials, natural elements, or other innovative media
Live animals are strictly prohibited.
SQTM may disqualify entries deemed harmful to people or property.

Application and $25 entry fee must be submitted no later than January 13, 2027.
Submission of the completed application serves as acknowledgment of event terms.

By submitting an application, you agree to the following:
You agree that the Southeastern Quilt & Textile Museum retains the rights to use professional photographs taken of your designs at the event for future promotional and advertising purposes.
You accept responsibility for any damage to or caused by your designs while on the event property.
All submissions are subject to approval. The Southeastern Quilt & Textile Museum reserves the right to decline designs that do not meet our event standards.
You can wear your own design or find a model.
If you are under age 18, you must have a parent/guardian signature.

Doors open for models 5:00 p.m.
Doors open for audience 6:00 p.m.
Entrants fully dressed & ready backstage 6:00 p.m.
Show begins 7:00 p.m.
