The Atlanta Chapter of the International Organization of Lace, Inc., was founded in 1986 by three of our original members with a mutual interest in lace, one of whom was from Europe and knowledgeable of the technique in making bobbin lace. Their aim was to ensure that the skill in making lace by hand and its history were not lost, and we continue that endeavor today through education, preservation and demonstration of handmade skills.

SQTM will host the Atlanta Chapter of the International Organization of Lace’s monthly meeting. The general public is invited to drop-in and view the group in action for lace making demonstrations. Let us know you’re interested in coming by filling out our RSVP form below!
