Whether this is your first quilting project or you are building your skills, this two-part class will teach you all the steps to make an easy table runner with the Quilt as You Go Method!
Class will be held July 16 and July 23 from 4:00 - 6:00 pm at SQTM. Participants must have basic sewing skills and access to a sewing machine. Class is $45. Space is limited, must pre-register.
Bring 1 jelly roll or 30 - 2.5” strips cut from your stash. We will sew the strips to the batting and the backing all in one step! Bind it and your table runner is ready for your table!
Please Bring the Following Supplies:
Sewing machine and cords
Walking foot - if possible
Thread to match your fabric
1 jelly roll (roll of 40-42 coordinating fabric strips measuring 2.5 × 44”) or you can cut 30 2.5” strips cut width of fabric from your fabric stash
1/3 yard of fabric for binding (or use leftover strips)
1/2 yard coordinating fabric for backing
Rotary cutter with a sharp blade
Batting and spray adhesive will be provided
